Speckled Perch Festival, Parade, Car Show, Live Entertainment

March 14 @ 10:00 am March 15 @ 3:00 pm

The annual Speckled Perch Festival is the oldest celebration in Okeechobee dating back to 1965. At the time, the festival honored the fishing industry with a parade and fish fry in the park. Since then speckled perch has become restricted from commercial sales but the celebration tradition continues.

There will be live entertainment, food, arts and crafts, kids games and a car show hosted by Trash the Classics.

The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The festival is 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is always held the 2nd weekend of March.

It is located in downtown Flagler Park between Veterans Park and Cattlemen’s Square.

Stay tuned for upcoming artist lineup.
